Our Fundraising Heroes

We want to celebrate some fantastic people that braved the Kiltwalk for Branch Out Together in September. Katie and Est walked the Big Stroll, raising an incredible £1030, with an extra 50%, which the Hunter Foundation generously added, bringing the total up to a whopping £1515!

Katie shared her reasons for walking with us, as well as her experience of the walk itself:

"I wanted to fundraise for Branch Out Together as I have attended a couple of Basecamp 2 programmes and really enjoyed these. I wanted to give something back for all the support I have been given. The Kiltwalk was a real challenge for Est and I. Having a friend take part definitely added to the fun of the event. We enjoyed the day so much and by walking we got to see parts of Edinburgh we hadn't seen before from the car or bus! I am so happy we completed the walk and would love to do the Kiltwalk again for Branch Out Together".

We are incredibly grateful to Katie and Est, and we’re sure that you will agree that they are absolute superstars! It’s thanks to people like them that we are able to offer the services that are so vital to the children and young people that access them. If you are considering doing some fundraising of your own, whatever it may be, please contact us to see how we can help.
