The Saturday Adventure Club – Complex Medical Needs

What is The Saturday Adventure Club for Complex Medical Needs?

The Saturday Adventure Club for Complex Medical Needs is based on our Saturday Adventure Club and offers the chance for children who have complex medical needs and are unable to access other services because of this.

This programme has been specially developed to offer these children the opportunities to engage in creative activities in a safe and stimulating environment where they can develop friendships, learn new skills and gain new experiences.

Activities will be child led and built around individual needs and circumstances. Children and young people will be consulted and be allowed to grow in confidence as they take part in the tailor made programme.

Who is The Saturday Adventure Club for?

The Saturday Adventure Club is only open to young people who have a complex medical need and do not have access to other services because of their ongoing need for specialist support. For children who do not require nursing care during the day and are able to manage in a social community setting for most of the time with 1:1 support.
